Reconstruction of the Učňovská school building

This was an extensive reconstruction and extension of a secondary vocational school in logistics and a secondary vocational school. The construction included an extension based on piles, serving as a new entrance to the building and ensuring vertical communication via a new staircase with a stainless steel railing and a barrier-free elevator.

As part of the reconstruction, the floors on the 1st floor were renewed, including insulation, the building envelope was completely reconstructed, and all the fillings of the openings were replaced. In addition, the reconstruction of the social facilities, communication areas, and internal surface finishes took place.
The original roof was replaced with a new flat roof. The core part of the implementation was the integration of new technical distribution systems, especially air conditioning, heating, cooling, and electrical installations, with the aim of reducing the energy consumption of the building, while maintaining the original supporting skeleton.
