Extension of the F. X. Šalda Gymnasium, Liberec

From the outside, the building impresses with its bright facade. As it is an energy-efficient building, the southern part of the facade is made up of PV panels to the maximum extent, which are complemented by insulating windows. The northern part will be technically prepared to serve climbing and evergreen plants, which have a primarily aesthetic role. The roof of the building will be a functional green extensive to avoid overheating of the building, for example in the summer months.

The project also includes the construction of a new external multi-purpose court with lighting and facilities. The existing courtyard by the canteen will therefore be supplemented with a wooden pergola and a storage area for sports equipment, while a grandstand for about 100 spectators will be built. The playground will be equipped with an artificial surface and will also include a running track or skating rink.
