Reconstruction of the shopping center in Nový Jičín

As part of the demolition work, new reinforcing brick walls were built, including the perimeter walls of the new elevator shaft, the supporting steel structure of the staircase and the steel structure for the escalators. Furthermore, the openings in the ceiling structures were concreted and some supporting reinforced concrete structures were reinforced with glued steel lamellas. The extension was roofed with a supporting trapezoidal sheet with a vapor barrier, thermal insulation from mineral boards and foil waterproofing, with the required fire resistance and classification Broof t3.

The reconstruction also included vertical internal structures, floors, suspended ceilings and surface treatments, the external cladding, elevators, escalators and travelators (new solution), technical equipment of the building, fire safety solutions, communications and paved areas.
