The retirement house comprises three buildings interconnected with roofed passages. The main entrance building has five floors and a basement. The other two buildings are three-storey buildings with two basement floors. The load-bearing structure consists of a reinforced concrete skeleton with masonry infill-walls. There are single or twin rooms with nurses’ room on each floor in the building. The building is designed to accommodate 300 clients. The construction work also included the building of a rehabilitation centre including a swimming pool and a large park with paths lined with interlocking pavers and landscaping. The building, which is situated in the middle of a residential location, meets the requirements for modern airy accommodation for seniors while preserving their maximum privacy.
