The construction included the demolition of the “Strelnice“ building and the construction of a new multipurpose facility with an overall ground dimensions of ca 75×18 m. The height varies, dependant on the pitch of the roof, with an overall variance of +3,49/7,40m. The roof cover itself is a PVC foil. From the user’s point of view, the structure is divided into support facilities for the football club (a retail shop, ticket offices, an archive, an information centre), the entrance to the football stadium area (incl. turnstiles), a multipurpose structure (an auditorium, restaurant facilities, technical and sanitary facilities) and a terrace. Constructionally speaking, the structure is a reinforced concrete skeleton (a sandwich composed of concrete/XPS/concrete), resting on concrete strip footings on rocky bedrock. All vertical and horizontal constructions above ground level have been treated with a transparent anti graffiti coating. The windows are systematic structural aluminium elements with triple glazing. The project also included TBE, the relocation of DN 250 cast iron water mains, utility lines, area roads and landscaping.
