Nove Katerinky residential houses were the first residential houses to be built by SYNER in Praha. The project included ca 300 housing units built on greenfield land. All residential houses were built using the same system of construction. The houses are based on strip foundations with a monolithic basement. All above-ground floors are masoned with ceramic blocks, the partition walls between individual flats are made of acoustic bricks. The ceilings are monolithic with round prefabricated balconies and stair flights. The roof construction consists of wooden arched glued roof trusses. Underground garages with green roofs which serves as a garden for the ground floor flats were built between the houses.
